The PreteristSite
Free Books
Looking for free online high-quality scans of books? Pretty soon, your only stop will need to be Google. It has good start going right now.
Microsoft has also launched its MSN Live Book search
At this time, I stepped back to remind myself of my goal in starting this out three or so years ago, and it was to have a repository of orthodox preterist materials without people having to go to sites which actively promote or expose people to the hyperpreterist heresy. I have absolutely suceeded in this goal. I have a great deal of the material found on those sites and some material that can only be found here or other orthodox sites. There is one area in which that has not happened, and that is the hosting of high-quality scans of older books of which one particular site has done a very very admirable job. However, that will soon be a non-factor for two reasons. One, Google is getting into the business of hosting old scans and neither myself nor any site containing heretical material will be able to beat Google at the information game. Second, I have decided to save funds to buy a book-scanner myself and level that playing field for the materials I have access to that are not on Google.
