Hi Dee Dee,
The second woe speaks of 1/3 of man (I assume this is from the total population world-wide) being killed as a result of 4 angels being unbound. The chapter that states this doesn't give the details but since any kind of warfare is bound to cause 'a lot of damage to life and property' there could be some who would mistake this as Christ's return when it is actually Daniel 11 being fullfilled. Satan has a total of 42 months, 5 months are used for the first woe leaving 37 months (1110 days) for the 2nd woe.

As dreadfull as the above is going to be there are two differences from what Christ's return will be like, the first is that Christ is alone when He slays the ones who will be slain and the second is the timeframe for what He will accomplish is much shorter, one day to complete God's wrath which is contained in the 7 vials.

Isa:63:3:
I have trodden the winepress alone;
and of the people there was none with me:
for I will tread them in mine anger,
and trample them in my fury;
and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments,
and I will stain all my raiment.

Re:18:8:
Therefore shall her plagues come in one day,
death,
and mourning,
and famine;
and she shall be utterly burned with fire:
for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Any who have been alive to 'witness' the difference would probably be of one mind in that as bad as satan's second woe was, it is well short of the scale of destruction and death (both in time and 'amount') Christ is capable of causing.

MH, I was not even discussing that with PreTrib - you are going off in a direction that this thread was nowhere near heading. It's purpose and topic were pretty narrowly defined - if you find the thread where I pointed out to PreTrib the three or four things she had to concede that was the purpose of this thread, not an analysis of the book of Revelation.

i'M NOT SURE WHAT THE WHOLE FUZZ IS ABOUT SINCE i GOT BORED READING. oops excuse the caps. I know I use to sing that song as I would be in bed but ofcourse since I didn't know allt he words by memory I added my on words, glorifing GOD. I know he enjoyed it. Anything that gives glory to GOD I believe he will enjoy.
