Argument Via Battle Hymn of the Republic

Introductory Note
Debates with futurists can be frustrating in that the presuppositions and misdefinitions of what I am actually proposing are sometimes never overcome so that even if the futurist disagrees with me, they at least know, understand, and can accurately represent what it is that they are disagreeing with. In encountering this problem at a popular futurist forum (Rapture Ready), I decided to try a different tact which I call Argument Via Battle Hymn of the Republic. I think it is a fresh way to approach this issue, and in this particular debate, the (in my humble opinion) over-simplistic and borderline anti-intellectual foundations of the opposing view were startling. Rapture Ready has very kindly given me permission to archive the discussion here as it is housed in an area of their forum that requires registration to view.
