Books Dealing with Neo-Hymenæanism

"Keith Mathison was correct on this point: If futurism is true, then [full] preterism is definitely (not "possibly," as I said) a damnable doctrine." - NeoHymenæan David Green

It has been alleged that my use of this statement without its larger context is misrepresenting David Green. That is absolutely incorrect as shown here.

The End of All Things

Articles Dealing with Neo-Hymenæanism

There are some false beliefs which, like erring plants, we should be glad to prune and check, as we allow ourselves too, to be pruned. Those who hold them should be exposed to the sunlight of dialogue to be nourished and benefited. The weed that is heretical or "full" preterism however, is not such a thing. It must be utterly starved of the oxygen of our attention. If we treat it as an equal among Christian opinions, some might fall into the error of thinking it to be a Christian view. ~ Glenn Peoples

Continued Expose of the hyperpreterist cult leader H.L. James - Pastor Gene attends a home "Bible" study hosted by HL James

The Resurrection Debate part one ~ Pastor Gene versus H.L. James (H.L. is the host of the Hymenæan radio show "Beyond the End Times" ~ it is to be noted that I would disagree with the comments of the moderator (sorry I do not know his name) in which he referred to hyperpreterists as "the brethren," but I do not wish to have that disagreement keep me from providing this valuable resource. Pastor Gene does not hesitate in denouncing this view as heresy (and specifically the Hymenæan heresy)

Pastor Gene versus hyperpreterist Kelly Birks

Independant Book Reviews

Reviews of various eschatology works including NeoHymenaen works by Kenneth Levi ~ Note well this observation by Kenneth: I agree with another reviewer: The strange negative reviews help me to see the cult-like vehemence in the movement. I can't imagine what would happen to a church if one or two of these folks got in. This book should help shut the door on the possibility.

Micheal Sprouse's review of "When Shall These Things Be?" (scroll down) ~ Note well this observation by Michael: After reading some of the hyperpreterist reviews below, I am convinced that this book is VERY important. Read them for yourself: how would you like to have people who think like this being in charge of your understanding of God's Word -- and your eternal destiny! I have printed off a few of them to give to friends as warnings of the pugnacious character of this new fad

DO YOU HEAR A COMMON THEME WITH REGARDS TO [at least some of] THESE PEOPLE?

Taylor Adams' review of "When Shall These Things Be?" (scroll down) ~ I was a hyper-preterist. Then I read this book. I read it in order to refute it. I could not. I can attest to the accuracy of the contributor's statements regarding hyper-preterism, and I'm thankful I was pulled from the clutches of it before I had sunk deeper.
